Driving through Ventura County, I ask, "Isn't this a beautiful place in which to live?" Resoundingly, I hear, "Yes, it is!" So it follows that I paint what to me is noticeable, pleasing to the eye and something that expresses the attractive, the recognizable, and the familiar. I paint with warm watercolors using strong notes of pure pigment. My work is complete when I see that it has A Sense of Place.

I truly appreciate those of you who visited the Gallery during the show. Owning an original work of art by a local artist is exciting and will always be a reminder of the amazing beauty around us.
