The watercolor paintings by Fillmore, California artist, Luanne Hebner Perez, are bright, colorful scenes of the Heritage Valley in Ventura County. Others are of places visited in the United States and in Italy, France and Austria. She often begins her work on site and then uses her many photographs to inspire the completion of the paintings.

Luanne has painted with well-known local artists and several international artists/teachers. Her decorative arts training and sense of composition has made her art appealing. Educated at U.C. Santa Barbara and U.C. Davis, a secondary school teacher of vocational arts, she is a born Californian who loves creating paintings of this beautiful state and of her European heritage.
